Licensing

Contrary to general public belief you currently need a Motorcycle License or a minimum of an M-1 License to operate any motorized 2 wheel vehicle that does not have pedals regardless of the size of engine or motor.

A MOTORCYCLE LICENSE IS REQUIRED TO DRIVE  SCOOTERS ON PUBLIC ROADS IN ONTARIO.

New Regulations are now in place for  owners and drivers of Mopeds, Limited Speed Motorcycles and Motorscooters in Ontario.
